Knowledge and capacity building in the service of healthcare.
SCL — Serviços Clínicos de Luanda began its journey in Angola in 2021 within the ANP family, with a mission to develop a leading healthcare project.
With a focus on laboratory services and institutional cooperation, the project values scientific rigour, service quality and the training of Angolan technicians, both locally and internationally.
Areas of activity
- Support for assessing the installation and operation of healthcare laboratories.
- Scientific and technical advice and support for managing laboratory projects.
- Training and capacity building for researchers, technicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Research, quality assessment and collaboration in health monitoring and epidemiological surveillance initiatives.
Cooperation and development
Cooperation with Portugal’s Instituto Nacional de Saúde Doutor Ricardo Jorge forms part of the project’s vision, focusing on knowledge sharing, laboratory quality and technical capacity building.
SCL envisages the development of a laboratory and a training centre, fostering exchanges between institutions and strengthening the skills of healthcare professionals in Angola.
